I then added a twig as a stem. Perfectly primitive as a grouping for bowl fillers or tuck one on a shelf or with a doll! Each one is different, no two will be the same. Created from my very own original copyrighted design. CLICK ON PICTURE TO ENLARGE #2016  Handcrafted Homespun Star MakeDo This handcrafted star is made from tan and black checked homespun and sits atop an antique bobbin.  A heavily stained pocket of osnaburg fabric is on the front and is filled with spanish moss, preserved sweet annie and a cinnamon stick.  A rusty bell and safety pin and a stained cheescloth tie adds the final primitive charm. The fronts are appliqued wool pieces and are handmade. This pillow features three pineapples and has a mustard and black checked border.
